Holy greetings, in the matchless and magnificent name of Jesus the Christ, whose birth we now celebrate!

Just as the Early Church embraced the concept of a new beginning following the season of advent, we, too, are establishing a new tradition.   After years of holding our Sunday services in the afternoon, we are excited to announce, as of Sunday January 6, 2008, the House of Prayer Church of God, No. 1, will hold Sunday morning services beginning at 11:30 a.m.  Additionally, Sunday School will convene from 10:00 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. and afternoon services will begin at 3:30 p.m. Our Tuesday Night Prayer Service and Thursday Night Bible Study times will remain the same, beginning at 7:30 p.m., respectively.

We have prayerfully deliberated these changes and regard the launch of our new service schedule as a progressive and noteworthy event.   We invite you to join us in starting the New Year with our new service times, and in realizing that despite these changes, “Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever”.  In fact, He’s an on-time God, so we should be too!
